Welcome to the Wilderspin National School
The school is a family-friendly museum that welcomes visitors of all ages to experience a slice school life in a bygone age.
Located in Barton-upon-Humber, the school museum offers, through role-play, hands-on exhibits and talks, an authentic and memorable experience of teaching in the 19th and 20th centuries.

It’s back – our Easter hunt with a difference – for all the family to enjoy! Grab a basket then hunt for clues to test your family’s eggcyclopaedic knowledge in the School Library.
Fun for the eggheads in the family. Price to shell out: £2 per basket.
Raise the Roof - Taiko Drumming
Monday 30 March, 2pm
Taiko is Japanese ensemble drumming and this is your chance to have a go and make a noise! You’ll learn how to perform drumming patterns, choreograph movements and shout. It’s powerful and exciting! These sessions are for children 8 years old and upwards, and they last two hours. This is a community project funded by the local Music Hub.
