Opening Times

The school is a family-friendly museum that welcomes visitors of all ages to experience a slice school life in a bygone age.

Located in Barton-upon-Humber, the school museum offers, through role-play, hands-on exhibits and talks, an authentic and memorable experience of teaching in the 19th and 20th century.

Christmas Opening Times

We will be closing for over Christmas from 1pm on Saturday 24th December and will re-open from Thursday 5th January. Since the 2012 South Humber Collection leaflet went to print we revised our winter opening times which are 11am-3pm Thursday – Sunday.
Scholars coffee shop will open between 10.30am and 3.30pm.  During the winter months why not come along for a warming tea or coffee.

Christmas Cake and Mince Pies

Delicious home made mince pies and Christmas cake now being served in the coffee shop. Opening times 10:30am - 3:30pm Thursday to Sunday.
