Two hundred years ago, education pioneer Samuel Wilderspin began his travels across Britain promoting infant schools in the nation’s towns, villages and cities.  Our  celebrations begin with this exhibition about his amazing adventures and achievements, and a programme of events through to 2026.

Victorian Barton Tour
